Managing quality control in building systems so that all stakeholders are successful.

An Integrated Approach

Integrated Designs is a sustainable-minded company. We understand that by integrating quality control into the building process we can eliminate waste and deliver high-performance projects with lower risk, less stress and reduced cost.

Our approach is called Lean Commissioning (LeanCx) and it provides the best value in the industry. By moving quality control and value-engineering to the front end of our projects, we can focus on prevention and effective time management. This helps all stakeholders achieve success. With LeanCx's collaborative approach, all team members can enjoy a stress-free construction period and the confidence that comes with over 25 years of hands-on experience.

Churchill Northern Studies Research Centre Project Image
Integrated Designs was tasked with delivering a cost-effective, high-performance, sustainable research facility for the Churchill Northern Studies Centre (CNSC) and its 200 researchers and students. A non-profit, the CNSC required a project that demonstrated leadership in the field, was afforable to operate and could easily house over 100 people at a time. Through a highly collaborative, integrated approach, Integrated Designs delivered both a $19M LEED Gold research facility and important training and mentorship to the CNSC team. Working closely with Integrated Designs, the CNSC members were able to develop the skills and knowledge to continue operating this Northern facility with confidence.

Owner Involvement for CX of the Manitoba Hydro Project (LEED Gold ++) Project Image
The Manitoba Hydro Corporate Office project took a great deal of due diligence, experienced commissioning and significant time and effort, but the end result produced North America's most energy-efficient office tower. The building's owner recognized that the budgeted time was best spent managing the process and thus assigned three talented operators to our commissioning team. This enabled our experienced commissioning specialists to focus on the challenges of getting this unique double-wall, passive-solar-designed, naturally ventilated. The 21-story facility is working to meet high energy-efficiency expectations.
